Over the last 10 years I have noticed a great deal of improvements in tubes regarding design, weight, and price. With such a huge assortment of models to choose from, it all comes down to budget and application. Remember these things when you're purchasing or selecting a float tube or pontoon boat. Considerations when purchasing a new or replacement tube You will be spending long periods of time in this float tube or pontoon boat and comfort is very important.
Storage space is at a minimum when you are on the water, once you add a fish finder, rod holder, a catch and release net, etc… there will not be allot of spare space around you. Add 2 or 3 fly box's, lunch, water, anchor, raingear, safety gear and WOW! Like I said, things can get very cramped.
Take caution when using any type of personal flotation unit, and wear the appropriate safety protection
