Our goal is to provide you with the correct information in getting setup for float tube fly-fishing. First off, we sell NOTHING! That's correct, no advertising banners, no annoying pop-ups and no commercial distractions from the information that brought you here. All the contents of this website is the property of Ed Robinson, a fly-fishing nut with a passion for catching huge trout.
If you are planning on purchasing a float tube or any accessories then check out our section on equipment. We have prepared a section on tube styles which include common types of float tubes and other important equipment you will need. All prices are approximated and in Canadian dollars.
Float tubes have advanced allot over the years. Some of the newer models are ultra lightweight and handle incredibly well. I personally use a tube that is now 15 years old and hand made out of Army Canvas. The tube is very large and heavy but my father had it made for me in Calgary, Alberta before he passed away. I treasure every minute I spend in it. It makes me feel close to him while feeling close to nature and that's what float tubing is all about for me. I read somewhere that fishing is for the contemplating man. So enough thinking about it and lets go float tubing.
